Frequently Asked Questions

Coaching with Kristan is for people of all ages and backgrounds who seek to make decisions with more confidence. Coaching topics will include financial budgeting and time management, as well as all aspects of interpersonal relationships, life goals, and all the challenges of aiming to live our dreams.

Budgets and Beliefs is an online live workshop for teens and young adults. See our Programs tab for a full description and course objectives. Each online session is 90 - 120 minutes. Alternatively, the course is periodically offered full day , live or online, covering the same material with even more discussion and variety of practical exercises. 

The Young Adult version of the current course is intended for ages 15 - 24 (approximately).

Younger participants should have some source of income, even if that is only an allowance, should have some expenses for which they are responsible, and should have some freedom in how they spend. 

Older participants with full time jobs and life experience will learn new tips and take away new perspectives regardless of their level of independence. The age is capped to maintain a suitable group dynamic for open discussion of  relevant topics.

The age is capped to encourage a group dynamic where all feel comfortable sharing. If it is your parenting style to keep an ear open when you child is online,  it is respectfully requested that you stay off camera and cannot be heard. 

Budgets and Beliefs (YA) is currently meant for the Gen Z age group.  The age is capped to encourage a group dynamic where all feel comfortable sharing. One-on-one coaching is ideal for clients of all ages.

You can use Zoom in a browser, but have more features when downloaded. You should download and/or update your zoom application in advance of the scheduled event. Many people find it easier to navigate and see more of what is going on while on a laptop, however a tablet or phone will work as well.
